On this episode of the Food About Town podcast, Tom Falbo from PepperNutz.com came over to talk about the world of hot sauces and his path in the spicy world.
Tom and I talked through the insane selection of hot sauces on his website and how he got started peddling spicy goods on the Interwebs. We tackled relative spice levels and how the Scoville unit gives comparable heat.[powerpress]
We proceeded to do a taste test of his line of 5 hot sauces, a sriracha stout from Rogue and even dove into a sauce based on the Carolina Reaper – currently the hottest pepper in the world. I made some stupid noises and my wife jumped in for this part of the podcast as well.
