F.A.T. Podcast Episode 117 – Cooking at Joe Bean

On this episode of the Food About Town podcast, I talked about my experience cooking for the last three days of the Joe Bean kitchen a little while back with my buddy Bryan Chue from Boston.

Thanks for listening!

This episode is brought to you by Phrankly. Phrankly is working to make sourcing and distribution for restaurants, farms and specialty goods more transparent and change the way people find their food.

It was an honor and a privilege to be involved in the last few days of Joe Bean the way it was and I learned a lot from the cooking experience. It was my first time cooking in a commercial kitchen and I hope to get the chance to try it out again in the future. I ended up making some Mexican-Asian cross over tacos with 3 different sauces and a miso tinged corn salad. Sure not everything was perfect but I’m proud of my efforts and it turned out to be a successful first go around.

Cheers to the whole Joe Bean crew and I can’t wait to see the next step in the Joe Bean adventure!
