On this episode of the Food About Town podcast, I had the Pete Chapman and his fiance Maeve from the Smokin’ Petes food truck over to discuss their BBQ and some of their more outrageous creations.
It was fantastic to see them arrive in their van and start cooking up some tater tots for their newest loaded dish. Eating the Outlaw Poutine (tots, brisket, bacon, brisket gravy and cheese curds) with the team got me prepped and ready to podcast!
We talked about how Pete got started in BBQ, making his own smokers, and what the most challenging piece of meat to cook is. We also talked about working together as a team and how traveling affected their life. They are also prepping for their 12 day stint at the NY State Fair coming up in a couple weeks.
