This is a bonus podcast for all the coffee lovers in the audience! The Rochester Coffee Society held an industry focused Roasters Panel on February 19th at Joe Bean Coffee in the back roasting area. Roasting representatives from Peaks Coffee, Joe Bean, Public Espresso and Gimme! Coffee all talked through how they roast and answered questions from the audience,
We tried samples of each the coffees they roasted and brought and it was fascinating to hear the roasters talk through how they did the coffee and why. The crowd was really engaged and had some great questions especially regarding how the roasters interact with the baristas on the front line.
